How to Love Working from Home
Home working is not for everyone but there are ways to make it better

My office, like so many others, rushed to get everyone working from home by the end of March 2020.
To start with everyone seemed to love it (including me) but a few months later most people wanted to return to the office despite having the option to keep up with home working.
I know it’s a divisive topic. Whilst some people want home working to stick around forever and are refusing to go back to their offices, others are keen to get back. They feel like they are missing out and want the working world to return to ‘normal’.
I’m someone who loves home working but I understand that everyone is different and this remote style of working doesn’t suit everyone. I have colleagues who struggle working alone and this style of office working has impacted their mental health.
It’s a situation no one thought they would be in, having to change your normal way of working so dramatically and for some it’s here to stay. Many companies are sticking with home working at least some of the time. Whilst some employees will not have a choice in this there are ways to make home working work for you.
