Reach Out to Someone this Christmas

Merry Christmas all!

I hope you are all having a lovely day! Just a quick reminder to reach out to loved ones this holiday season.

Not everyone enjoys this time of year and many people will be feeling lonely.

Try reaching out to others as you never know the difference it can make!

• Call a friend and wish them a Merry Christmas
• Send someone a message to let them know you are thinking of them
• Make plans with people who are spending Christmas alone so they have something to look forward to
• Go for a walk and say hello to the people you see — it might just make their day!
• Post a card through to a neighbour if you know they are alone

There’s always something we can do to help each other. Christmas is a good time for focusing on others and developing a community spirit.

Kind deeds change lives and I can’t think of a better Christmas present.
