Ahh Winter…what a wonderful time of year. It looks like a Christmas postcard outside my window at the minute, it is undeniably beautiful and I have to admit there are times when I’m traipsing through the snow that it makes me feel happy.

But if I had a choice I would never spend Winter in a cold climate. I hate the freezing temperatures, I hate de-frosting my car and trying to not fall on the ice.

So, I have an idea for all office-based staff — let’s all work from home in the Winter.

Home Working Is Now Possible

The global pandemic has changed the world. Home working suddenly became possible due to necessity.

Most offices and computer-based roles can no longer pretend the work needs to be done at one location.

Also, Winter can be a dangerous time depending on where you live. The roads get icy, trains break down and the risks of falling increase. If home-working is possible for your safety during a pandemic why not extend this to instances of bad weather.
