The Goals Checklist
Start your new year planning with this helpful list
Whilst I don’t believe in the New Year New Me mentality as there’s no need to change everything about you I do like planning and setting goals.
New Year is a great time to start putting in place plans you want to achieve in the coming year.
However, it can be overwhelming starting to think about what you want to do.
Here’s a handy checklist to get you started:
- Write an overview of everything you’d like to do — think big, no idea is too crazy
- Now break your main list into achievable goals — if you wanted to run a marathon your new goal is to start training
- Breaks goals and activities into the months of the year
- Big goals need to become actionable steps. For example, writing a book in a year will mean writing so many chapters each month
- Add in the little achievements you will need to reach whilst working on your goal
- Set a new daily schedule which includes the little steps you are going to work towards to reach your bigger goals.
